Reiki is a Japanese technique that uses the power of invisible life force energy that flows through and around your body to promote healing. Reiki translates to “spirit energy.” It is a system of self-healing through the transmission of the universal healing energy through hands. The energy of Reiki harmonizes and brings to equilibrium the energetic flow of our physical bodies and it works across physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels of the human being. It nourishes self-realization, growth, and spiritual evolution, and it brings us closer to the divine.

In Mixteca Indigenous belief, Grandfather Fire is the ultimate healer. Together, we will gather wood from the land, start a fire, and with our collective prayer, we will consecrate the coals with which we will smudge and purify you. We will use Copal resin, a powerful healer in Mixteca Indigenous culture and customs.
